A Business visitor visa is a temporary visa for people who intend to travel to Canada temporarily for the following business purpose.
● To Invest
● To grow business
● Or to advance the business relationships
To be eligible for a business visitor visa, you must:
● Not stay more than 6 months
● Must not intend to enter Canadian labor market
● The Main source of income and business must be out of Canada
● Must have supporting documents for the application
This stream is for visitors who are planning their vacation and want to travel to Canada for tourism purposes. The Canadian Visitor Visa is granted only for a period of 6 months and it could be either single entry or multiple entry visas. Applicants cannot work on the visit visa but, you can travel across Canada for tourism and leisure.
Having a Visitor Visa alone will not allow you to study or work in Canada. If you want to enter Canada as a student, you must have a valid study permit along with a Visitor Visa (also known as Temporary Resident Visa (TRV). Similarly, to enter Canada as a worker, candidates must require a Work permit. However, if you have already applied for a study visa or work permit, you do not have to apply separately for the TRV. Once your application is approved, you will be asked to submit your passport to the visa office so that a TRV can be provided to you.
